In collaboration with the Mediation Training Institute (, Nigeria, Asentek hosted a 5-day conference on The Role of Management and Labour Unions in Managing Workplace Conflicts in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Workplace conflicts cause needless emotional pains wastefully drains individual vitality and organizational resources. Unresolved workplace conflicts lead to: increased health costs, financial and man-hour losses, threats of industrial actions, anxiety, sabotage, workplace dysfunction, lowered job motivation, low productivity and strained relationships.

This conference focused on the core principles of mediation and offered basic skills and techniques for effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal relationships for enhanced teamwork and increased productivity. This conference provided participants a global perspective on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and requisite skills to assist disputing parties in an assured, confident and professional manner.
